Pulcianese lies amidst the green hills of Tuscany, 12 km from Siena and offers you the natural flavours of the typical Italian cuisine: game, meat roasted on the spit, pasta and deserts, following ancient recipes and using the traditional wood oven and grill.
Pulcianese is a typical farmhouse, entirely restored and surrounded by centuries-old oaks and olive trees. There are spacious dining-rooms as well as the possibility to stay in a beautiful garden, enjoying a glass of genuine wine from a nearby farm, while overlooking the marvellous view on the Sienese country.
Pulcianese is easily to reach by a panoramic road which passes at the Etruscan village Murlo, the Castle of Crevole and brings you in a few minutes to the highways for Rome or Florence.

Thanks to a large parking for busses and cars, Pulcianese is an ideal place for ceremonies and meetings.

First historical witness: A.D. MCCCXVII (1317)

The estate of  Pulcianese has for sure very ancient origins. This is witnessed by the etrurian necropolis discovered around 1966, not far from this resort. Approximately ten graves “Type Ipogeo”, were brought to light, and the finds now are at the archeological museum of Siena.
However the name “Pulcianese”, is shown up for the first time in 1317, when we can find this location in an official written document. This happened when Siena, in a big tributary operation called “Lira” tried to census the goods and wealth in order to impose and collect a tax from their incomes. This first rudimentary “Estimo”, or "Register Control" was compiled  by some of the  Officials called “Alliratori”...
